    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

Jack Hendry gets a talking to from the referee after a clumsy late tackle.

The Scotland defender is lucky to get away without a booking.

  3. 'High line not working'published at 14:21 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio Scotland

The high line is not working. We could have lost two or three goals already. We have not figured it out yet.

We are not closing them high, and if you don't do that, all they need to do is ping it over the top, and you have got space.

That is Scotland's problem right now.

  4. Postpublished at 14:20 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

Robbie Ure helping out at the back again as he nods away a corner.

We haven't seen much of him or Oli McBurnie at the other end of the pitch.

  5. 'One pass to get in behind Scotland'published at 14:19 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

    James McFadden
Former Scotland forward on BBC Sportsound

He should score. One pass to get in behind Scotland again.

  6. Postpublished at 14:18 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

A huge let-off for Scotland as Danijel Sturm races into the vast space behind the Scottish defence and drills in a dangerous cross.

Andraz Sporar should turn that in from close range, but he fires wide instead.

  7. Postpublished at 14:15 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

Another fright for Scotland, another offside.

Jack Hendry didn't know that though as he makes a good clearing challenge in front of goal.

  8. Ure catches the eyepublished at 14:14 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio Scotland

I have to say, the movement of Robbie Ure looks fantastic out there right now.

He's giving options to his midfielders, and it's early in the game, but he has got both sides to his game.

  9. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 14:12 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

An offside flag goes up as Andraz Sporar hammers in a wonderful strike.

No question about the decision, but that was some first-time hit!

Slovenia are well on top here.

  10. Postpublished at 14:09 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

A slack pass from Scott McKenna allows the hosts to spring forward but Stephen Welsh does well to snuff out the danger.

  11. 'Big shift for wide men'published at 14:08 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

    John Collins
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

For me, the hardest job in this system is for the two wing-backs.

They have to defend and supply crosses for the two strikers. I don't think either of Andy Robertson or Aaron Hickey will last much longer than 60 minutes.

  12. If the cap fitspublished at 14:07 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

    Amy Canavan
BBC Sport Scotland at Stozice Arena

I missed the anthems - it's truly a maze to make your way around this wee place - but that was because I was in the tunnel as the players came out.

    Cant lie, pretty cool.

With his black cap on, Sebastien Pocognoli gave a big handshake to each member of his squad and staff.

A big hug for assistant Alan Irvine, who acknowledged the good work his former player has done this week...

  13. Postpublished at 14:06 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

Robbie Ure repels the corner with a booming header out for a throw-in and, when Slovenia work the ball back into the penalty area, Angus Gunn gathers.

  14. Postpublished at 14:05 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

Stephen Welsh nods the floated free-kick behind for a corner...

  15. Postpublished at 14:04 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

Ooft! A wild swipe from Jack Hendry concedes a free-kick in a central position, 40 yards out.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:03 BST

    Slovenia 0-0 Scotland

A bit tardy but here we go.

  19. We will be on the front foot - Pocognolipublished at 13:57 BST

    Slovenia v Scotland (14:00)

Scotland head coach Sebastien Pocognoli tells BBC Scotland: "Yeah, you know, it's the first game, so we are really excited.

"We had a good camp behind us.

"We try as quickly as possible to implement some aspects of the game that I hope we can see today, and of the pitch, the cohesion between the new players and the oldest ones was good.

"So I think today we need a good game to increase what we saw during the week.

"Try to find the right balance between being solid defensively and having some power attack.

"We will see if we can find the right balance. What we practised this week was going well, but the game is a different context.

"[We will] try to be a little bit higher on the pitch, but the most important thing is that you watch the game and maybe offer your own perception, make your analysis.

"But I hope, yes, that we will be a little bit higher on the pitch, on the front foot and try to have some good pattern on the ball, which is probably the most challenging part of the game.

"Off the ball, we need to be really solid and to be solid doesn't mean that we have to wait for the opponent, so try to be as high as possible."

    Slovenia v Scotland (14:00)

Slovenia manager Bostjan Cesar was sent off in that 2-2 draw against Scotland.

He's waiting for his first victory after two defeats and a draw.

The hosts have just one win from their past 10 matches.
