For a team in transition, Liverpool look the real deal. A bit worrying for the rest of the Premier League, being so early in Iraola's tenure.

Arsenal need to see this through to half-time. This is relentless from Liverpool but for all the threat they've posed, they need to test David Raya a bit more.

Liverpool have got an issue on the left side. Whenever Kerkez gets the ball it keeps on breaking down and the fans are getting really disgruntled with him. He doesn't know when to take a touch.

On if Liverpool should have had a penalty for Jurrien Timber's shirt pull on Alexander Isak

Jurrien Timber takes a huge risk by grabbing the shirt. It could easily have been given on another day. It's right on the limit, has to be sustained holding - some will say it was sustained, some will say it wasn't.

Interesting that Isak didn't even appeal so he obviously felt he wasn't impeded very much.

    Liverpool 0-1 Arsenal

Milos Kerkez with a wild attempt at a clearance allows Noni Madueke space to run but the Arsenal attack breaks down.

    Liverpool 0-1 Arsenal

Liverpool could maybe have had two penalties. Alexander Isak didn't even appeal Jurrien Timber's shirt pull in the box, but Cody Gakpo is furious that challenge from Christos Tzolis wasn't punished.

Only one person to blame for that goal, really poor from Alisson. His shot stopping remains superb. But more an more a passing liability. Left Jacquet no chance.

Liverpool burst forward again and Milos Kerkez somehow finds himself in the number nine spot but his finish is that of a left-back and we're not talking Roberto Carlos.

Declan Rice always plays well, but he really looks up for it today. Brilliant for the goal, great tackle on Barcola. He's just so instrumental to this Arsenal side. His athleticism, his quality just always stand out. It's been a brilliant start to the game from him.
