  1. goal

GOAL: West Ham 1-1 Portsmouthpublished at 15:44 BST

Hard one to take for Portsmouth.

  2. goal

GOAL: Burnley 0-1 Notts Countypublished at 15:43 BST

    Callum Roberts (42 mins)

A day of shocks on the cards?

What a goal this is by Callum Roberts. He spins on a sixpence from Nick Tsaroulla's threaded pass towards the edge of the area before smashing a wonderful finish past Max Weiss.

    Derby 0-2 Lincoln

Almost a third for Lincoln at Pride Park and they really would have been in dreamland then.

It drops to Ben House at the back stick and his low drive is blocked. It then falls for Ivan Varfolomeev but his effort is also kept out by some last ditch Derby defending.

Not sure John Eustace will be massively pleased with his Rams side in this first half.

    Leicester 1-0 Northampton

    Tim Oglethorpe
    BBC Radio Northampton commentator

If I was a Leicester City fan I would be having kittens!

They play the ball around the back, and have played it about three or four times across their own box.

It is close stuff - which nearly cost them a goal in the early stages of this game.

  5. 'Portsmouth deserve it'published at 15:40 BST

    West Ham 0-1 Portsmouth

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

I have to say that in a way Portsmouth deserve it because they've been industrious.

West Ham have got to have a shot on goal, put the goalkeeper under pressure. In the final third they've been absolutely awful.

The manager has got to spark it up at half-time. I'd like to see El Hadji Malick Diouf come on.

  6. goal

GOAL: Preston 0-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:39 BST

    Radinio Balker (38 mins)

    This seemed inevitable, really...

It was as cool as you like by Radinio Balker, who headed home a great cross from Lasse Sorensen on the right side.

The 10 men of Preston might need to shake things up a little.

  7. 'Good strike from Segecic'published at 15:39 BST

    West Ham 0-1 Portsmouth

    Guy Whittingham
Former Portsmouth manager on BBC Radio Solent

Slight deflection on it I think, which wrong footed the goalkeeper, but it was a good strike from Adrian Segecic. Took it down on his chest and waited for it to drop for a half-volley.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:39 BST

    QPR 0-1 Millwall

Time is running out for QPR as we head into the final 10 minutes of the 90.

Julien Stephan rolls the dice again as Amadou Mbengue and Paul Smyth are withdrawn.

On come Kealey Adamson and Koki Saito.

  9. Postpublished at 15:39 BST

    West Ham 0-1 Portsmouth

    Dan George
BBC Sport at the London Stadium

Well what a big goal that is for Portsmouth!

Adrian Segecic ended last season in really good form and what a way to start things off in this campaign.

There was absolute pandemonium amongst the travelling support to my right when that went in.

  10. Postpublished at 15:38 BST

    Leicester 1-0 Northampton

Jon Guthrie heads wide for Northampton as they try to get back into the match.

A little earlier, Elliot List and Connor Lemonheigh-Evans linked up well to force a save from Jakub Stolarczyk.

    They'll need something soon.

  11. 'Get it forward'published at 15:36 BST

    Leicester 1-0 Northampton

    Jack Rafferty
    BBC Radio Leicester commentator

The crowd are trying to push these Leicster players forward now.

We officially have our first, 'get it forward' of the season from the crowd.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:36 BST

    QPR 0-1 Millwall

A double change for Millwall and it will be a debut for Kyrell Lisbie following his move from Peterborough.

Lisbie, the son of Kevin, replaces goalscorer Luke Cundle. Tairyk Arconte is also on for his debut as Josh Coburn makes way.

  13. goal

GOAL: West Ham 0-1 Portsmouthpublished at 15:35 BST

    Adrian Segecic (33 mins)

Well, how's that for a turn up for the books?

West Ham defender Max Kilman makes a solid header to clear a corner delivery but Adrian Segecic controls it well with his chest just outside the box and lets loose with his left foot.

Kilman can't move out the way, seeing it deflect off of him to fly into the netting.

The travelling support will be as pleased as punch with how their team have performed so far. It's been a really good showing from them.

    Swansea 0-0 Birmingham

Swansea midfielder Marko Stamenic is being pursued by Jhon SolisImage source, Shutterstock

Birmingham are still yet to take aim at goal but Swansea...

They've notched their efforts up to five as Joseph Opoku misses the net on the counter-attack. Only one of those has challenged Blues keeper James Beadle though and there's a few in that Blues team that can net a stellar goal from no where.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:34 BST

    Burnley 0-0 Notts County

And now Burnley have a decent chance.

Zian Flemming hits a powerful drive back across the face of goal from the left, about 15 yards out.

But James Belshaw does brilliantly in the Notts County goal to parry it away.

  16. Postpublished at 15:31 BST

    Burnley 0-0 Notts County

Burnley have had a lot of the ball, with 77% possession. But as yet, just the one shot for the Clarets inside the first half an hour.

A very low-key affair in terms of chance creation so far.

  17. Swansea looking the more likelypublished at 15:31 BST

    Swansea 0-0 Birmingham

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Both sets of fans are enjoying themselves at the Swansea.com Stadium, with the mood light during the opening exchanges of the new season.

On the pitch there is energy and endeavour, with Swansea looking the more likely side to find a breakthrough so far.

Adam Idah shot too close to the goalkeeper, while Eli Just was a yard off target as he tried to steer a shot into the far corner on his debut.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:31 BST

    Watford 0-0 Crawley

Crawley are cranking up the heat at Vicarage Road as Charlie Barker and Kellan Gordon both force saves out of Federico Ravaglia.

Watford head coach Alessio Dionisi will be getting a little uncomfortable at the sight of that.

  19. Postpublished at 15:31 BST

    West Ham 0-0 Portsmouth

Portsmouth's Zak Swanson goes for goal but he's off-balance and it's more in hope than anything.

It flies out for a goal kick but even as play resumes, West Ham defender Max Kilman is put under pressure.

There's a lot of people in that crowd but they haven't had much to please them thus far.

  20. Postpublished at 15:29 BST

    QPR 0-1 Millwall

Another change for QPR as Alfie Lloyd comes on up top in place of Richard Kone.

Into the final 20 minutes at Loftus Road. Can the Hoops find a leveller?
