The second goal of the night from Graz is a signal for many of the Hearts fans to head home. There will be no Champions League glory for the Tynecastle club.

It’s now a visit to Lisbon to take on Benfica or a trip to St Gallen in Switzerland in a week to battle for a spot in the play-off round in the Europa League.

Prior to that it's Aberdeen on Saturday evening for the start of the Premiership campaign.

Quite a beginning for new boss Wouter Vrancken.
