    Oof.

Shea Charles sets his sights on goal after Leo Scienza's dribble across the face of the area is ended by a robust challenge.

Charles lashes the ball in first time but it's always rising over Christian Walton's crossbar.

  10. 'Feel of a play-off semi-final'published at 21:07 BST

    Southampton 1-1 Ipswich

    Brenner Woolley
    BBC Radio Suffolk commentator

    This game a has a play-off semi-final feel.

There's still a lot of life left in this one with maybe plenty of twists and turns.

  11. CLOSE!published at 64 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Ipswich

    End-to-end and like-for-like.

Leo Scienza picks the ball up on the Saints left and tries a curler of his own from just outside the area, which is not too far away from the far top corner either.

Breathless stuff all over the pitch.

"Manning again" was ringing around St Mary's before Ryan Manning took that free-kick - the whole of the home support are now singing it after he scores his eighth of the season.

Manning has been deadly from dead-ball situations this season, you could almost sense something was going to happen in the lead-up to that goal!

  13. CLOSE!published at 63 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Ipswich

Jaden Philogene drives down the left for Ipswich, all the way to the edge of the box, and thinks 'why not.'

His fizzing effort across goal is always rising and flashes inches past the angle of post and bar.

  14. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Ipswich

Cyle Larin is ok to continue, for now.

We're into the final half hour and Saints HAVE to win.

    Brilliantly poised.

  15. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Ipswich

Cyle Larin slumps to the deck and Saints put the ball out of play to allow us all to catch our breath.

Ross Stewart is warming up for the hosts, not a bad replacement to have at your disposal.

  16. 'Can Saints continue playing like this?'published at 21:03 BST

    Southampton 1-1 Ipswich

    Jo Tessem
Ex-Southampton midfielder on BBC Radio Solent

It didn't look like it took much of a deflection but it came off Marcelino Nunez.

Now, can we continue to keep playing the way we are playing because 1-1 isn't good enough?

  17. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Ipswich

Saints immediately go in search of a second.

    What a bonkers game.

What a joy the Championship has been all season long, and it might just go to the wire after all...

GOAL: Southampton 1-1 Ipswichpublished at 58 mins

    Ryan Manning

    VERY dangerous...

Ryan Manning goes for power rather not guile, it flicks off Marcelino Nunez and flashes to the left of Christian Walton as he dives to his right and into the net.

The roof is raised at St Mary's.

Eight for the season for the left-back.

    Game very much ON.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 56 mins

    Southampton 0-1 Ipswich

Jacob Greaves might be a touch lucky here.

He flies into a full-blooded challenge on Finn Azaz a yard outside the penalty area, gets very little of the ball and only after he'd got all of the man.

It's just a yellow, but it will be another dangerous set-piece for the hosts...

  20. 'Saints playing with good tempo'published at 21:00 BST

    Southampton 0-1 Ipswich

    Jo Tessem
Ex-Southampton midfielder on BBC Radio Solent

We are playing fast forward with good runs.

It's been good tempo but we have no choice, we need to win.

We're playing with great determination and I think that's better for us because we play better with great determination.
