Notts County goalkeeper and boyhood fan James Belshaw speaking to Sky Sports:

"It's two really professional performances and to take Notts to Wembley is a really special memory for me and my family.

"If you don't take chances early on, you always know they are going to have chances at the end of the game.

"I don't take a moment for granted wearing the shirt. To play a part in that and to walk out at Wembley in a Notts shirt will be a dream come true."

FT: Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    Notts County

Notts County midfielder Jodi Jones told Sky Sports: "It's amazing,. We got the job done in the end, I thought we were excellent. One more game to go.

"It was heart, grit, determination, all of the above. We know we have special players who can win games but I like to think the gaffer has added a different part to (our) game.

"Chesterfield are a top team but we got the job done,

"We have been fantastic this season, we missed out (on promotion) by a couple of points and I believe we can win (at Wembley)."

  3. 'My emotions have been so high and so low'published at 22:14 BST

    Salford 2-2 Grimsby (agg 4-3)

    Salford City

Salford City forward Daniel Udoh speaking to Sky Sports:

"My emotions have been so high and so low and back high again.

"We've still got to get one over the line to get promoted. We'll enjoy this and get ready for Wembley.

"The gaffer set us up for every possibility. I was cramping up and I thought it was going to penalties."

  4. 'A defensive masterclass'published at 22:08 BST

FT: Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

I don't think anyone expected this result.

Two good teams only producing one goal over two games, but what a defensive masterclass from Notts.

It's not promotion, it's a trip to Wembley with a chance of promotion.

Crikey, Notts put us through a wringer.

All the players did better defensive work than attacking but what matters is that we're going to Wembley.

They keep rolling on and extend the season to one more game.

It's by the narrowest of margins but it's all been worth it.

  5. Belshaw loving life in front of the Koppublished at 22:05 BST

FT: Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg. 1-0)

    Andrew Aloia
BBC Sport, East Midlands at Meadow Lane

As Notts County supporters spill onto the Meadow Lane pitch, there is one man in fluorescent green who sprints from one end of the ground to the other.

It's Notts goalkeeper James Belshaw, and he is thrusting his fists with joy as he celebrates this play-off win in front of the Kop end. That is the very stand he has sat with his father and family as a Magpies supporter.

    It's a special moment.

  6. 'Salford deserve to make the final'published at 22:04 BST

FT: Salford 2-2 Grimsby (agg 4-3)

    Liam Hogan
Former Salford defender on BBC Radio Manchester

    Unbelievable, unbelievable for Kallum Cesay.

Fair play to Grimsby for putting up a fight but Salford deserve to make the final.

Pretty much every game we've watched this season it's been the same. The culture and the tightlines, they've been in games then out.

  7. NOTTS COUNTY ARE GOING TO WEMBLEYpublished at 22:00 BST
    Breaking

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

The Magpies will face Salford at Wembley on 25 May after withstanding a lot pf pressure to see-off local rivals Chesterfield in the League Two play-off semi-finals.

Jayden Luker's first-leg goal is the difference across 180 minutes.

There's a fairly low-key pitch invasion but it seems to be in good spirits for now.

This was by no means a virtuoso performance, but Martin Paterson's side gritted their teeth and did what they had to do, defended a lot of set-pieces, threw their bodies in the way when needed and he's guided County to Wembley in his first season in charge.

Paul Cook's side played the better stuff but just didn't have the clinical edge in the final third and his unfortunate play-off record now reads P8 W0 D2 L6.

  14. CLOSE!published at 21:55 BST

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

The corner is deep but is worked back into the middle from the left bhy John Fleck but Dilan Markanday's stooping header glances across the face of goal.

Just needed a bit more of a touch and that might have crept in.

  15. Postpublished at 21:53 BST

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

All hands on deck for County at the back as Chesterfield keep getting the ball into the box, though without any real quality.

It keeps coming back,,, and Sammy Braybrooke's deflected effort wins a corner.

Six minutes of added time remain.

  16. SALFORD INTO LEAGUE TWO PLAY-OFF FINALpublished at 21:53 BST
    Breaking

AET: Salford 2-2 Grimsby (agg 4-3)

Kallum Cesay's extra time goal sends Salford to Wembley.

Grimsby's Cameron McJannet only managed to get a toe on the cross into Cesay and it wasn't enough to stop the midfielder from thrashing in a winner.

Huge goal. Huge game awaiting the Ammies.

  17. 'This is going to sting'published at 21:52 BST

Chesterfield win a corner after a jinking run from the tireless Dilan Markanday.
