  1. 'Imagine going to get four or five against AC Milan'published at 21:15 BST

    Bournemouth 2-0 AC Milan

    Robbie Savage
Peterborough manager and former Wales midfielder on TNT Sports

We want to see Bournemouth go and get more goals. Get three, four, make this a night in their history that they'll never forget.

They won't forget it at 2-0 but imagine going to get four or five against AC Milan.

That should be the message at half-time from the manager. Obviously win the game first but can you go and score more goals and be agressive.

  2. goal

GOAL - Besiktas 1-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 21:14 BST

    Yeremy Pino

The decision is overturned and the goal is given!

The linesman originally flagged for Anan Khalaili being in an offside position when he crossed for Yeremy Pino to score, but after a long VAR check the equaliser is confirmed.

It is no less than Palace deserve, too.

  3. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:13 BST

    Besiktas 1-0 Crystal Palace

Another goal ruled out for Palace!

Yeremy Pino sweeps in a neat finish but the flag is up for offside in the build-up.

VAR is going to check this, though...

    Bournemouth 2-0 AC Milan

As you may expect against 10-men, Bournemouth have dominated the early proceedings in this second half.

Ben Gannon-Doak burst to the byeline and won a corner, but Marcus Tavernier's set-piece was too deep for everyone.

    Besiktas 1-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have started this half like they did the first - attacking and on the front foot. They have half a shout for a penalty waved away.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:07 BST

There's a double change for the visitors at the break.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and former Brighton full-back Pervis Estupinan are replaced by Adrien Rabiot and Davide Bartesaghi.

Get Sage out of our club. We are absolutely shocking in front of goal and worse than useless in defence. This isn't a one team league. He's way out of his depth. Useless.

    FT: Jablonec 0-0 Brighton

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler speaking to TNT Sports: "We did not play on our highest level, Jablonec defended well and defend box well, good movement in transition. Overall not the result we wanted, but we have to keep going

If you play 0-0 then you didn't create enough, that's definitely something we have to get better at. We have to understand what it needs to play in this cup, understand we have to be brilliant at the basics. We weren't good at the basics today, that’s something we have to improve."

On why his team couldn’t find a way through: “Good defending, crosses not where we wanted to have them. The precision in the last action was missing, that’s something we have to improve.

"The longer the game got, the more space they had to make transitions. We tried to push hard for scoring the goal and of course they had the space to make counter movements. In certain moments we were lucky.

"We always learn, I think it’s important to take things away from this game and improve in the next game. There is no time for a lot of disappointment, we have to focus on the next game."

Typical Palace. Play with so much confidence and then switch off to concede a goal. It’s going to be a long season, isn’t it?

  12. Poznan draw a good experience for young players - Le Brispublished at 20:59 BST

    FT: Lech Poznan 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland boss Regis le Bris speaking to BBC Radio Newcastle: "We expected this atmosphere, this style of play from our opponent.

"I think they are a good team and after the first goal, they showed that they had quality to build up under pressure, to go through our block when we were a bit opened. They created chances as well.

"After that, we created our chances. We deserved to score the second goal. We didn't and in a nice stadium like this against a good team, the momentum can shift and switch really quickly and it happened.

"So good experience. We started the game with seven players under 23 years old so they need to experience those situations against good teams to get better."

Ruben Amorim has waited on the touchline at half-time.

He waited for all his players to leave the pitch and then shouted something in the direction of the officials.

Not sure he can have too many complaints about either penalty or the red card.

My word, he finished that superbly well didn't he? Big stride, adjusts, and catches the keeper, who just can't get across.

    The whistle goes for half-time.

Crystal Palace played really well and were unfortunate not to take the lead, but then were punished just before half time.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:50 BST

    Bournemouth 2-0 AC Milan

Two penalties, two goals. Bournemouth are in control against 10-man AC Milan at half-time.

Regardless of the red card, they thoroughly deserve to be winning. They've been brilliant. AC Milan, less so.

    Wilfred Ndidi (45+2 mins)

Palace punished right before half time!

The hosts take the lead with their first shot on target. No-one picks up Wilfred Ndidi's great run on to a ball over the top and he strides into the box before firing into the far corner.

Palace switch off for a second and are caught out.
