    George Hirst and Jaden Philogene calmed any early nerves with two goals inside the opening nine minutes and sub Kasey McAteer put the gloss on it late-on.

    After a year away, Ipswich are back in the Premier League.

    Middlesbrough settle for a play-off spot, with this result immaterial after Ipswich's comfortable 3-0 win to secure automatic promotion.

    Boro will finish fifth and will have to play the second leg of the semi-final away from home.
