  4. Johnstone & Doherty outpublished at 15:28 BST

    Burnley v Wolves (16:00)

    Wolves

Finally, here's a line from Wolves manager Rob Edwards on the fitness of his squad, as they prepare for their Premier League swansong: "Sam Johnstone is still missing. Matt Doherty will be missing for this one. Other than that, we are pretty much there."

  5. Tonali injury 'not anything too serious'published at 15:27 BST

Fulham v Newcastle (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Newcastle United

There is no chance of European qualification for Newcastle United, but Magpies boss Eddie Howe says he wants to end the season on a high.

Howe added: "There's no point being negative for too long. You've got to come out with a clear head. We've done well in the Premier League when we've had no European games. It makes it a little simpler for us in what our aims are. We have to go about achieving it."

On team news, the Newcastle boss said that Sandro Tonali will be assessed on Friday to see if he will be available after going off against West Ham last weekend.

Howe added that he doesn't think "it was anything too serious".

  6. 'If the planets align, maybe something exceptional can happen'published at 15:25 BST

Sunderland v Chelsea (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Sunderland

Chelsea travel to Sunderland on Sunday, knowing the Black Cats can move above them in the table with a win as both sides aim for European qualification.

Here's Sunderland manager Regis le Bris on team news: “It might be difficult for Omar Alderete. We’ll make a call after training tomorrow. Chemsdine Talbi will be sidelined, he picked up a muscle injury this week just after the end of the session.”

On chasing Europe: “At the minute we have 51 points and an opportunity to get three more points to reach 54 which is impressive for our first season back in the Premier League after eight years away. We played good football, respected the identity, we grew and learned. We improved."

He added: "We struggled at times, which is normal in that league, and if the planets align, maybe something exceptional can happen.”

  7. 'We have full belief in Cole Palmer'published at 15:22 BST

Sunderland v Chelsea (Sun, 16:00 BST)

Chelsea's interim boss Calum McFarlane spoke to the media today before his final game in charge of the team.

He started with team news: "Joao Pedro and Levi Colwill both trained today and were looking promising. Hopefully they will be fit for Sunday. Reece James also trained today, but we are taking it day by day. We have to manage him well. We're hoping to have him back on Sunday."

On Cole Palmer's omission from England's World Cup squad: "I don't want to comment on that, it's nothing to do with me. The England manger has made his decision. We have full belief in Cole Palmer. I think in life and in football, you need to take every setback as a positive."

He added: "It's football, you're going to have so many moments like this, if they couldn't deal with these moments they wouldn't be in National leagues, they will be able to deal with this setback. In terms of Cole, that was announced at 10am then we had a meeting at 10:30am and trained at 11am so we haven't had those conversations and we had a great training session. We have one more game to go and we need three points."

  8. 'We will continue doing our best for Jack'published at 15:19 BST

Tottenham v Everton (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Everton

Here's team news update from Everton boss David Moyes, before Sunday's match at Spurs: "Idrissa Gueye, he's on the grass, I would say 50-50 chance that he could be involved. We will know a bit more once he's trained."

On Jack Grealish's fitness: "We've looked after Jack all the time since his injury. Normally a player would go back to the parent club and be looked after there but we will continue doing our best for Jack."

  9. Solanke, Maddison, Spence available - but Romero 'in Argentina'published at 15:16 BST

Tottenham v Everton (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Roberto de Zerbi has provided a team news update: "Dominic Solanke is available, but we will have to decide if he features in the starting XI or not.

"James Maddison is also available, but it is always tough to decide how many minutes he will be able to play before a game. Of course, he is a top player for us, but we will have to analyse his physical condition.

"Djed Spence is available. It was another bad situation for us because I thought it was a red card for Liam Delap, but I have no time or energy to think about referee decisions, yellow cards or red cards."

He also confirmed reports that club captain Cristian Romero will be in his native Argentina during Tottenham's season finale: "He spoke with our medical staff and he has decided to go to Argentina to complete his rehab with the Argentinian medical staff.

"We spoke last week and he showed me that he wants to stay with us. He is already injured and we have to accept that.

"I want to be clear, I'm not stupid. If I think there is a player who is thinking about himself before the club, I cannot be the same Roberto [de Zerbi]. But I can't say anything about him because he has been correct from the beginning of my time here until now.

"I don't think he can change anything, whether he is in the stadium tomorrow or not. I also don't have time to lose energy thinking about these things. We all need to be focused on the game. We have enough good players to achieve our target."

  10. Postpublished at 15:12 BST

West Ham need a dramatic final day to go their way on Sunday to escape relegation.

They are two points behind Tottenham and have a far inferior goal difference, so the Hammers need to win win at home to Leeds and hope Spurs lose at home to Everton.

That's the only scenario that will see them move up from 18th and out of the relegation zone...

  11. Traore a doubt, Bowen 'sad'published at 15:09 BST

West Ham v Leeds (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    West Ham United

West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo on team news: "Adama [Traore] it’s going to be hard for him to join us, but the rest are OK. Some small knocks and players to assess. Hopefully, everybody is going to be OK."

On Jarrod Bowen's omission from England's World Cup squad: “He was sad. Something that Jarrod really wanted to achieve in his personal career.

"Representing England is one of the most important things. He immediately turns the page and focuses on Sunday.'

Here are the key lines from the Spaniard:

Man City v Aston Villa (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on whether he will enjoy the rest: "Yes. Many people, my closest people, when I started to say OK, it will be my last season, they said after three months you'll be back. I said maybe, but I will have to prove it. I will have to prove myself."

  16. 'Club gave me time to make my decision'published at 14:56 BST

Man City v Aston Villa (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on his current emotions: "No I said before, I took the decision because it was made, it was a process that required how you have to breathe, it was a natural situation, when I decided, I started to tell the club.

"The club said take time to make your decision, when the moment arrived I said it was the moment."

  17. 'I came for three years and rest is history'published at 14:55 BST

Man City v Aston Villa (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on whether the thought he would stay for 10 years: "Not 10 years, that is impossible.

"I came for three years and said we will see what happens and the rest is history. I think we continued because both parts, the club and myself, were comfortable being together. I was incredibly protected and of course the titles means that you can continue but this support helps you win the titles to continue."

  18. 'I will call Sir Alex back for sure'published at 14:53 BST

Man City v Aston Villa (Sun, 16:00 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on what Sir Alex Ferguson said to him: "What, with his Scottish accent? I struggle. I didn't talk, it was a [message] I will call him back for sure. He congratulated [me] for the trajectory, for what we achieved, it means a lot to me. He is the greatest in this country. I am so happy, he was there to watch us."

  19. Maresca 'makes sense but City still taking step into unknown'published at 14:51 BST

Monday Night Club discuss Manchester City's succession planning

Enzo Maresca, who took Leicester back into the Premier League before winning the Conference League then the Club World Cup at Chelsea, is another graduate of the Pep Guardiola coaching academy.

There would undoubtedly be an element of risk to his appointment and he would be following the hardest act of all. And Maresca can be a combustible personality, evidenced by him leaving Chelsea in January after fractures appeared with the club's hierarchy.

His time at Chelsea was regarded as a success, with qualifications, his possession-based football not always winning favour with supporters.

Succeeding Guardiola, and somehow trying to replicate his remarkable successes, will be bring heavy pressures and intense scrutiny.

In Maresca's favour, however, is that he would come with a glowing reference from the Spaniard, who believes he never received enough credit for his work at Chelsea. City's hierarchy, crucially, have first-hand knowledge of Maresca's character and ability.

City's Abu Dhabi-based rulers will have been preparing for this day. Every aspect of due diligence will have been done. The rubber stamp would have only been applied after meticulous deliberations.

This will still not stop this being something of a step into the unknown as City finally enter the post-Guardiola era.

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on his most proud achievement: "I don't know, it's a question for the people. Hopefully, they enjoyed watching us play, the moments were fun, the moments we played really good, others its not. It happens, 10 years, all the trophies has been good.

"I would say the first Premier League is important, of course I cannot deny the Champions League, after many years try to be close, all of them.

"There is one sentence that came to my mind when I spoke with Noel Gallagher, we were on the table to win four games in a row and now we won four Premier Leagues in a row. I said wow, that is a good sentence. Maybe since Abu Dhabi took over, to make the incredible step to what the club has become. It makes me so proud, so happy."
