Canada striker Bair joins Bolton on loan

Bolton Wanderers have signed striker Theo Bair on a season-long loan deal from Auxerre, with the option of a permanent deal.
Bair, 27, moved to the Ligue 1 side two years ago and has played 32 games for them, but he spent last season on loan in the Swiss league with Lausanne-Sport.
Previously he spent three years in Scotland with St Johnstone and then Motherwell, where he scored 15 goals in his sole campaign.
He has won seven caps for Canada but did not feature in their World Cup squad.
"I've been aware of Bolton's interest for some time now and when I saw the stadium I always knew that I wanted to be here," he told the club's website., external

Meanwhile, Cyrus Christie whose Bolton contract was cancelled by mutual contract last week, has signed for Vietnamese side Hanoi FC.
Their head coach is former Leeds United, Liverpool and Australia star Harry Kewell.
