Striker Charlie Wyke has played his final game for Carlisle United, after being released by the National League club.
The 33-year-old made his comeback in January, 462 days after suffering a broken leg and ankle, and made eight appearances for Mark Hughes' side this season.
Wyke, whose former clubs include Bradford City, Sunderland and Wigan Athletic, suffered a cardiac arrest in training in 2021.
He is one of 13 players leaving Brunton Park following Carlisle's defeat by Boreham Wood in the end-of-season play-offs.
Also among them are defenders Terell Thomas, Archie Davies and Aaron Hayden, who each played more than 20 games in 2025-26.
Despite not being offered a new deal at this stage, Sam Hetherington has, though, been invited to take part in pre-season training.
