Fylde sign Chesterfield's Butterfield on loan
Luke Butterfield scored one goal for Accrington Stanley while on loan last season

AFC Fylde have signed midfielder Luke Butterfield on loan from League Two side Chesterfield.
The 22-year-old has made five first-team appearances for the Spireites since joining them in 2025.
He spent the latter half of last season on loan at Accrington Stanley, where he made 13 League Two appearances.
"I'm really pleased to have joined the club," Butterfield told the club website., external "It's a really good set up and the style of football suits me really well. I feel it's a style where I can express myself and bring my strengths to the team."
