Bradford City are in talks with forward Nick Powell over a new deal.
The 32-year-old former Manchester United man made 10 league appearances, all as a substitute, in 2025-26 after joining as a free agent in August.
The Bantams, who finished fourth in League One this season before losing to Bolton in the play-offs, have activated one-year extensions on the contracts of defender Aden Baldwin, 28, and wideman Tyreik Wright, 24.
Midfielder Antoni Sarcevic, 34, has triggered an additional 12-month clause in his deal.
Goalkeeper Joe Hilton, defenders Neill Byrne and Ciaran Kelly, midfielders Lee Evans and Clarke Oduor and striker Andy Cook have all been released.
Cook, 35, who ended the season on loan with League Two Grimsby, scored 88 goals for the Bantams and leaves as the club's fourth-highest goalscorer.
