    Often, people can shy away, but he has not done that. Fair play to him.

    Look, nobody means to drop a catch, but I think overall those chances you want them taken.

    However, it can happen to anybody.

    Sri Lanka have such a long tail that the top six can't take as many risks as they'd like to in these situations. They need to find another all-rounder to have a better balanced XI.

    Is Liam Dawson not availiable for ODIs? Nothing against Ahmed. Talented young cricketer. However, if Rashid is injured for games or WC next year. I would want Dawson in the team.

    Having already tried to slog sweep Rehan Ahmed twice in the over, Charith Asalanka connects but only manages the ball straight into the hands of Atkinson at the mid-wicket ropes.

    Not the greatest over for the Sri Lanka batter, who seemed to succumb to pressure after three dot balls.

    Against Rehan Ahmed there's been a lot of sweeps.

    England are tight on the ones, they are making Sri Lanka hit it past them.
