    Another four to end the over as Yastika Bhatia thwacks a sweep straight back towards the umpire. It's almost like that retired out dismissal has given Bhatia a kick up the backside.

    That over means India have had the better of the powerplay.

    Charlie Dean is having an exceptional summer so far against left-handers, conceding just 32 runs from 46 deliveries bowled at them while taking four wickets.

    England have improved drastically as a powerplay wicket-taking unit this year, taking 13 wickets at an average below 20.

    Across the 11 games in 2025 they took 14 wickets at an average of 34.4.

    Jemimah Rodrigues joins Yastika Bhatia in the middle. These two put on the hundred-run partnership that won India the game in the first T20.

    A huge wicket. That's a shot you want her playing in the powerplay. As a spinner you want them sweeping, playing square, because their strengths are down the ground.

    Smriti Mandhana was already walking off after the first replay. The technology has it hitting the middle of middle and that's a big wicket for England with India going well.

    I think from England's point of view, they'll take confidence from the last game at Bristol where India got off to flyer but England's spinners then really put the squeeze on.

    It's quite unusual to see this much width from Lauren Bell. Two left-handers out in the middle, I wonder if that's causing issues.

    Lauren Bell hasn't quite had her line right to the left-handers. The pitch is slow but, with the ball wide of off stump, Yastika Bhatia cuts successive deliveries for four. Two wides down the leg side follows by Bell too.

    India are going along well even with the loss of that wicket and Bell is looking a little red in the cheek.
