  1. Leicestershire well on top at Grace Roadpublished at 17:31 BST

    Glamorgan 52-3 v Leicestershire (Target: 257)

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Glamorgan have hit the early trouble Welsh supporters feared, losing cheap wickets in pursuit of an improbable target of 257 on a pitch that’s been favouring the bowlers throughout.

The nagging accuracy of Foxes captain Ian Holland accounted for Glamorgan openers Zain Ul Hassan and Asa Tribe, and as Ben Kellaway tried to dig in, he was undone by a shooter from Tom Scriven.

Glamorgan will just hope to be still in the fight overnight with play likely to run past seven if the light holds.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17:27 BST

    Jewell c Clark b Carse 1 (Derbyshire 6-1 v Durham - target 423)

Brydon Carse gets an early breakthrough for Durham.

The fast bowler races in and Caleb Jewell can only glance of his pads straight to Graham Clark at short-leg who makes a simple catch.

A good day for Durham gets even better. The floodlights are now on at the County Ground.

  3. wicket

    Mousley c Haines b Hunt 53 (Warks 149-4 - target 203)

You have to say that Dan Mousley has rather thrown his wicket away there.

There was no need for him to rush down the pitch to Sean Hunt and try to loft it over mid-off for four.

Instead, he sliced a catch to Tom Haines, meaning Ed Barnard has to come to the crease to help finish the job for Warwickshire.

Mousley put on 107 with Vansh Jani, who is still there on 56.

    Glos 150-2 v Worcs - lead by 33

Gloucestershire match their first innings effort with eight wickets remaining.

Miles Hammond and Ollie Price have a possible 27 more overs to bat tonight to add to this partnership of 73.

If they can bat for most of that, the Glosters can start to wonder about what is possible on day four.

  5. 50 runs

for Dan Mousleypublished at 17:22 BST

    Warks 144-3 - target 203

Dan Mousley pulls Henry Crocombe down to long leg for four to reach his 50 off 77 balls - and bring up a 100 partnership for Warwickshire's fourth wicket with Vansh Jani. Just 59 more needed by the Bears.

    Welcome runs for Hampshire.

Toby Albert glances a legside delivery off his pads by Matthew Revis down to fine leg for four.

What a marvellous innings this has been for his side.

Charlie Allison tucks Jack Leach round the corner for a single to reach his first Championship hundred of the season off 185 balls - and the fifth of his first-class career.

He has hit two sixes and 13 fours and been supported superbly by Matt Critchley, who is 55 not out.

    Middlesex 56-0 v Kent - target 356

The half-century stand comes up in the 13th over and Sam Robson adds four more to the total with a good pull shot.

He is onto 31 and the target is now exactly 300 further on.

So much to do, but this is the right way to go about it.

  9. Derbyshire begin run chasepublished at 17:17 BST

    Derbyshire 1-0 v Durham (target 423)

Harry Came gets Derbyshire's run chase under way with a single off Matthew Potts' first delivery of this second-innings.

  10. Derbyshire set target of 423 by Durhampublished at 17:16 BST

    Derbyshire v Durham 295-6dec. (Stokes 66*)

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham have 28 overs to bowl at Derbyshire this evening - if the light holds! It didn't last night and the floodlights are already on today.

Perhaps that's why they batted on as long as they did, declaring at around 5pm with Ben Stokes on 66 and Brydon Carse on eight.

If the 28 overs are not possible today, Durham can at least still try and make in-roads with the ball in the overs possible, with a view to seeing off the job sometime tomorrow.

  11. Postpublished at 17:14 BST

    Hants 64-2 v Yorkshire (target 278)

The sun is back out in Southampton and Matthew Revis is into the attack for Yorkshire in the 20th over.

Stood up to the wicket, wicketkeeper Finlay Bean can't take in a leg side delivery and the ball goes past him for four byes.

  12. wicket

    Vasconcelos c Bohannon b Noman 100 (Lancashire v Northants 187-3 - lead by 334)

Ricardo Vasconcelos can add no more after reaching his century.

In trying to play Noman Ali through the legside, the ball kind of stops on him and it loops up and Josh Bohannon makes good ground to dive and take the catch.

Fine commitment and catch from the Lancashire skipper, but a super knock from Vasconcelos.

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17:12 BST

    Lomror b Pennington 6 (Surrey 67-5 v Notts - target 329)

That proves just too good from Dillon Pennington.

A beautifully angled delivery, he brings the ball away from Mahipal Lomror and hits top of off.

Notts are bowling like defending champions and might be thinking of winning tonight.

  14. Postpublished at 17:11 BST

    Warks 136-3 - target 203

Vansh Jani flays Sean Hunt through the covers for four and a straight drive from Dan Mousley off Jaydev Unadkat follows as Warwickshire press on remorselessly towards their target.

  15. 100 runs

100 for Ricardo Vasconcelospublished at 17:09 BST

    Lancashire v Northants 187-2 - lead by 333

Ricardo Vasconcelos gets the single he needs to move through to three figures.

It has only taken 126 balls for him to reach his fourth Championship ton of the summer - a fine effort indeed.

And he maintains his 100% conversion rate this season of 50 into 100.

He has struck 12 fours and a six to set up the game for his side.

  16. 50 runs

    Glos 137-2 v Worcs - lead by 20

A sterling third-day effort from the pairing of Ollie Price and Miles Hammond is now worth 60, with Hammond on 30 and Price five behind.

They are still only 20 in front but they are making the Worcestershire bowlers work very, very hard.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17:08 BST

    Kellaway b Scriven 8 (Glamorgan 37-3 v Leicestershire - target 257)

That is a key wicket picked up for Leicestershire by Tom Scriven.

Ben Kellaway is done by a daisy cutter, a length ball which keeps very low and which Kellaway can do little about.

With around 30 overs left of the day, Leicestershire are well on top and might even fancy securing victory today.

  18. 50 runs

for Matt Critchleypublished at 17:07 BST

    Somerset v Essex 276-3 - trail by 35

Matt Critchley is Essex's leading scorer in this season's Championship and he has again been a model of maturity today.

He pushes Jack Leach to mid-off and scampers through for a single to reach 50 from 170 balls faced.

It could have been tight had the fielder hit the stumps - but he didn't.

  19. 50 runs
