Really impressed with Alice Capsey so far. One excellent take as a stand-in wicketkeeper and also stepping up her vocals as is customary for a keeper.

Mady Villiers gets her reward after being the most threatening spinner all day. Villiers has spun the ball more than any other England spinner (Villiers 2.8°, TCC 2.2°, Dean 2.0°), while also challenging the stumps one in every four deliveries.
Rebecca Stokell is the new batter and after missing her first delivery on the drive she gets off the mark second ball.
Mady Villiers always seems to be a player up for a tussle. She sprawls to her right to stop a boundary off the final ball of her over.

What's been Orla Prendergast's downfall there is how clean she is hitting it. Mady Villiers bowled a horrible dragdown but because Orla has hit it so cleanly it's ended up carrying to Maia Bouchier in the deep.

The drag-down brings a wicket! Orla Prendergast almost gets too much of this. The fact she hits it well gives Maia Bouchier a chance out at deep mid-wicket and the England batter takes a very good tumbling catch after making ground to her right.

Orla Prendergast playing her shots here is going to give Ireland the best chance here.
Very good from England's new wicketkeeper Alice Capsey, who takes a rising ball from Issy Wong near her shoulders while standing up to the stumps.
This may only be her second professional match, international or otherwise, as a keeper but she clearly has talent. People around the England camp were saying she really good do this ob at the start of the summer.
Charlie Dean with that familiar quick arm races through another over, conceding only singles. Dani Gibson appears to be playing a senior role out there in the absence of other key players.

Wong's wicket has come after that change of ends Katherine Sciver-Brunt was calling for on TMS. Of course she has been boosted by the breakthrough but she looks far more comfortable.
There are none of those wayward deliveries we saw earlier as key batter Orla Prendergast is kept on nought.
