| | When we launched our wildlife competition, we never expected such a great response! |
 | | | We received over 80 entries, and we had a wonderful time looking at them!

The quality was amazing, and the range of subjects covered gave us a real flavour of local wildlife - and a splash of more exotic nature too! We had a tough time picking the winners - but here they are. The first prize went to Dave Ardron from Barnsley. His picture of sawfly larvae eating a birch leaf was amazing, unusual and technically impressive. The runner's up prize went to David Parkin. We loved his picture of a bluetit taking off - it must have taken patience, skill and a bit of luck to get such a great shot!

We enjoyed the competition so much that we plan to run another in the near future. In the meantime, why not browse through the entries? We think you'll be as impressed as we were with the results! And a big thank you to everyone who entered! | | | |
