Rovers Til I Die is a documentary that takes a look at the highs and lows of Doncaster Rovers over the past 10 years. The documentary was first broadcast on August 5th 2008. The documentary was put together by BBC Radio Sheffield sports presenter Seth Bennett and the station's Doncaster reporter James Vincent, and it's narrated by a supporter familiar to many Rovers fans, policeman Derrick Daniels. Also featured are former managers Dave Penney, Mickey Walker, chairman John Ryan, many supporters and Francis Tierney, who scored that famous winning goal at Stoke's Brittania Stadium in 2003 to win Rovers Promotion from the Conference.

James said: "The fall and rise of the club over the last ten years has been astonishing, and the documentary will reflect all the highs and lows experienced by Rovers fans during this time."

And Seth added: "Everyone you hear in the documentary is very candid about their feelings. Former manager Dave Penney, who did so much to get the club back to winning ways, tells us he couldn't believe the poor quality of the team when he took his first training session. It was a jaw dropping moment for him and he realised how big the task was to bring the good times back to Rovers."

Chairman John Ryan talks about the time he thought the club would go under, when former owner Ken Richardson brought Rovers to its knees and was eventually jailed for his part in the fire that destroyed part of the old Belle Vue ground. Ryan talks about the rescue package he put together with other directors and how Rovers clawed their way back into league football, and eventually into the second tier of English football for the first time in 50 years.

James said: "It's a wonderful, uplifting story. The club now is unrecognisable from the one of ten years ago and the journey the team, officials and supporters took was amazing. I hope our documentary captures all the turmoil, worries and excitement of the last decade."
