The exhibition explores a landmark year in UK culture through music, fashion, sport and politics; the free show features items from acts like Oasis and Spice Girls, alongside figures such as Jarvis Cocker and Paul Oakenfold, capturing the height of ‘Cool Britannia’ when Britpop, club culture and major cultural moments – from Trainspotting to UEFA Euro 1996 – defined the era.
