Mark Padmore presents his personal highlights of the season, while cellist Paul Watkins plays music by Elgar and Britten. In his final year as Proms Controller, Nicholas Kenyon will be speaking of the landmarks in his ten years at the helm, and there will be postcards from some of the visiting orchestras from around the world.
