Regional impact of US-Israel war with Iran

President Trump has said the US military is continuing to carry out large-scale combat operations against Iran to destroy what he described as the threat from its government. US and Israeli planes are continuing to pound Iran, with huge explosions heard in the Iranian capital. Our security correspondent and our chief international correspondent answer audience questions about the developments.

In response, Iranian drones and missiles are continuing to strike America's regional allies. We speak to two journalists in the region.

Qatar's state-owned energy company, QatarEnergy, says it has halted the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) after Iranian drone strikes on some of its key facilities. We also speak to our correspondent in Doha about the impact of the war on the global economy.

Israeli strikes have also again hit parts of the Lebanese capital, with plumes of smoke rising above Beirut's southern suburbs. We speak to our correspondent there.

Adressing the parliament today the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stressed that the UK was not joining the US and Israel's offensive strikes but explained why he has given the US permission to use British bases. We speak to our political correspondent.
