
Iran warns of 'decisive response' after death of security chief

Iran's army chief has warned of a "decisive" response after the country's Security Chief, Ali Larijani, was killed in an Israeli strike. He was overseeing Iran's military response, and was regarded by many as someone the US could eventually do a deal with.
The BBC has obtained footage and interviews from Tehran which tells a story of strained nerves, as residents wait for the next blast and live in fear of the state security apparatus.
A top counterterrorism official in the United States, Joe Kent, has resigned saying the ongoing conflict with Iran was "absolutely wrong" and that Iran does not pose a threat.
And Senegal have been stripped of their victory in the Africa Cup of Nations in favour of Morocco after a review of their players' conduct in the final.
