Uganda: Police detain prominent human rights lawyer Nicholas Opiyo

Opiyo is the head of Chapter Four Uganda which has been critical of the government

Ugandan police say that Mr Opiyo is being held on allegations of money laundering.

His organisation Chapter Four Uganda say it's an illegal abduction and are calling for his immediate release

In the Central African Republic the United Nations say they have retaken the town of Bambari from rebels

And, the Moroccan artist who is showcasing African and Middle Eastern art in an online exhibition for the first time.
