Sudan: Peacekeepers leave Darfur marking end of conflict

International peacekeepers in Sudan’s war-torn Darfur region will be leaving at the end of the month. A peace agreement has promised to end 17 years of a brutal conflict that has cost some 300,000 lives and displaced two-and-a-half million civilians.
