Zimbabwe: Imported vehicles from Japan to be checked for radiation

The move is to protect against the Fukushima nuclear plant disaster of 2011

A notice from the Radiation Protection Authority of Zimbabwe’s chief executive officer Justice Chipuru to importers said that the order was with immediate effect.

In a landmark case in Kenya, the government must pay compensation for failing to protect four people from sexual violence which followed the country's disputed 2007-2008 election.

And, In Ghana the main opposition party has rejected the election result, citing alleged irregularities.
