Three die in Ugandan protests after Bobi Wine's arrest
Protesters demonstrated against the arrest of Bobi Wine in Kampala's streets on Wednesday.
Police in Uganda say three people have died and dozens injured in protests in the capital and other urban areas following the arrest of presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, known as musician Bobi Wine, during an election rally.
A controversial Malawian pastor has surrendered himself to police in the capital Lilongwe. Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary jumped bail in South Africa where they are facing fraud charges.
The Democratic Republic of Congo says it is now Ebola-free after more than 40 days without a case.
