Ten years since one of the worst incidents to hit African football
It's the anniversary of the day the Togolese football team was ambushed by militants
Ten years ago, the bus carrying the Togo national football team was ambushed on its way to the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.
Three people died when separatist militants fighting for the independence of the Angolan province of Cabinda shot at the team bus, severely injuring seven others including the goalkeeper Kodjovi Obilale .
And in Niger, hundreds of asylum seekers from the Sudanese region of Darfur have been protesting outside the UNHCR offices.
