Moroccan journalist jailed on abortion charges
A woman has been jailed for having sex outside marriage and having procured an abortion
Moroccan journalist Hajar Raissouni has been sent to jail, accused of having sex outside of marriage and also for having procured an abortion. Both acts are illegal in Morocco.
In Ghana, the government has published guidelines for "comprehensive sexual education" aimed at students aged 4 to 24. The document has sparked controversy among some religious groups, but it has also been welcome by some parents. We hear both sides
