In Kenya, some parents are putting children as young as ten on contraceptives in an attempt to keep them in school.

One in five girls between the ages of 15 and 19 across the country are reported to be pregnant or have a child already.

The Nigerian Police Force has taken to Twitter to express anger and demand answers from the army after soldiers ambushed and killed three police officers whilst they were transporting a suspect in the north-eastern state of Taraba.
