
What fate for Sudan's former president al-Bashir?
Sudan's ex-President Omar al-Bashir is taken into a maximum security jail.
Sudan's ex-President Omar al-Bashir has been taken into Khartoum's Kober Prison, a maximum security jail where until recently he used to lock up political prisoners. We speak to someone who visited the detention centre before, to get a sense of what could be expecting Mr al-Bashir.
The Noble Peace Prize winner and Liberian peace activist Leymah Roberta Gbowee gives us an assessment of the situation on the ground in conflict-torn Cameroon. She has travelled the separatists Anglophone areas of the country, as well as the territories in the target of Islamist group Boko Haram, and gathered the views of the people whose lives have been disrupted by the ongoing struggle.
Feeling limited by the traditional Adungu, a musical instrument traditionally played in Uganda, musician James Ssewakiryanga, commonly known as Ssewa Ssewa, decided that improving on the original wasn't enough, so he invented a new string instrument from scratch: The 'Janzi' was born.
