Sudan demonstrations enter ninth day
Thousands are demonstrating calling for President Omar Bashir to step down
Anti-government protests have entered their ninth day in Sudan with the protestors showing no sign that they are ready to back down. There has been a show of force from authorities with thousands of soldiers deployed in cities across the country.
Nine opposition leaders have also been arrested - but that did not stop protestors gathering after Friday prayers to call for the country's long term leader Omar Hassan Al Bashir to step down, with numerous videos being shared online.
