
Free education in Sierra Leone starts today

Starting today, young Sierra Leoneans attending state and state-assisted schools will attend school for free. Kids will also be supplied exercise books and text books in four core subjects + In Nigeria, heavy raining has caused two of the main rivers in the country to overflow onto villages, killing over a hundred people. One of the worst areas is Lokoja in Kogi state where dozens have died and many homes destroyed. Anambra, Delta and Niger state are also affected by the crisis.
