Stella took over from Adam Macy as Home Farm Manager in August 2021, deemed ‘a fresh pair of eyes’ who could take the farm into the future. She’s since moved on to pastures new, taking her wealth of experience and practical attitude with her.
Stella admits to being a bit of a tearaway as a child – her mum sent her to Young Farmers to work off a bit of her energy and keep her out of trouble. Whilst she has a history of working in big commercial farming, Stella believes the family farm is the backbone of the country. Ever the moderniser though, she’s not afraid to try out different working environments since parting ways with Brian Aldridge.
With her forthright manner and inquisitive nature, Stella hasn’t had the easiest of rides with some of the Ambridge residents, but she’s won them over with her open and honest attitude, listening ear and kind heart.
