Get to know: Jon Gibbons
The Bridgnorth act has gone from rap parodies about cheese to playing stages all over the country. He's a natural performer, set for a debut solo run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2026.
Recognisable for his massive hair, youthful looks and quick-witted rapport with the crowd (often at his own expense), the Shropshire-born comedian shares with Lucy Gilder how his routines combine observations and relatability all at the same time.
Jon shares his route in to performing plus top tips on moving up through the gears, after taking the plunge with those very first gigs.
