Worcester's Scott Jenkins has swapped his the twists and turns of his vinyl turntables for the twists and turns of his debut novel. We've been no stranger to supporting the adventures of Scott on the BBC - whether through his own music on our sister show, BBC Introducing - or shouting about his events, having brought dance music heavyweights Sandy River and Norman Jay to the banks of the River Severn. His first ever book, The Trouble With Terry Winter, will be released in October 2026 alongside an accompanying audiobook. He shares how he always thought he had a novel inside of him, but was surprised at how quickly the writing and story flowed out of him. Scott shares with Nina how the book has an accompanying playlist and how music plays far more than just a mechanical device with his writing.
