French Classic 'Amélie' Re-released in Cinemas on its 25th Anniversary
It's a French film that in 2001, made around 173 million dollars at the global box office and was nominated for five Oscars.
Now on its 25th anniversary, Jean Pierre Jeunet's 'Amélie' is back in UK cinemas.
The film was a love letter to the French capital, Paris, and the story, full of whimsy and romance, made a star out of Audrey Tautou, who played 'Amélie.'
Emma Jones explains why this continues to be a unique film, for BBC Talking Movies.
