"Overwhelming to be nominated for Volunteer Award"

Sophie Clark from Romsey was a finalist in the Volunteer category in the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2025.

Sophie joined Romsey Young Carers aged 10, due to being a young carer for her sister. She now volunteers for the charity and leads dance workshops for other young carers.

Sophie has been chatting to BBC Radio Solent's Katie Martin about what motivates her to volunteer, and being nominated for a Make a Difference Award.
