Annie Gould from New Milton co-founded the charity Elsie's Rose and was a finalist in the Fundraiser category in the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2025. The charity was set up in memory of Annie's daughter, Elsie, who sadly passed away just after her first birthday. Elsie's Rose supports other bereaved parents all over the south coast. Nominations for the 2026 Make a Difference Awards are open until 5pm on 31st March.
