Carrie Hayden's BBC Introducing session
She began writing music on an out of tune piano at the age of 14 and later managed to secure a place in the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), Paul McCartney's old school.
Taking her influence from Tracy Champman, Sherl Crow and the Beatles among others, Carrie has been compared to Toni Mitchell and Carole King.
