Branded by Bill Clinton as 'the Woodstock of the Mind' the Hay Festival of Literature and Arts sees prominent artists, writers and thinkers flock to Wales for one of the world's most prestigious literary gatherings. This diverse festival, attended by over 250,000 visitors every year, celebrates great writing from poets and comedians to novelists and scientists. Highlights from this year's event include a career interview with Nobel laureate Toni Morrison and talks from celebrated children's writer Michael Morpurgo and renowned actress and now celebrated screenwriter Carrie Fisher.
