Mod na Cloinne: 2

Tha Linda NicLeòid agus Hannah McKirdy a’ toirt thugaibh cuid dhen òigridh a shoirbhich air an dàrna latha de Mhòd na cloinne ann an Glaschu. Seo an latha far a bheil clann fhileanta bho air feadh na dùthcha a’ taisbeanadh nan tàlantan aca. Anns a’ phrògram seo, chì sibh farpaisich a ghlèidh na bràistean, na cuachan is na gill-dhùbhlain airson aithris bàrdachd, seinn chòisirean, seinn aon-neach agus seinn-càraid. Nam measg, an nighean ’s an gille a thog na prìomh dhuaisean airson seinn san t-seann nòs.

Linda MacLeod and Hannah McKirdy are in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall to present some of the winners from the second day of coverage of the children’s Mòd in Glasgow. The spotlight falls on young fluent Gaelic speakers and the programme features winners who will take home a range of gold badges, cups and trophies for various competitions - including solo singing, choral singing and poetry recitation. The programme also features the winners of the premier prizes for traditional singing.
