Kiefer Sutherland

Actor and musician Kiefer Sutherland joins Vernon to choose ten songs from his life, including tracks by The Clash, Paul Simon and Alanis Morissette.

Kiefer tells Vernon about growing up as the son of actors Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas, which meant sometimes doing his homework in the backstage of theatres. Then they discuss Kiefer's move into film at a young age with parts in the likes of Stand By Me and The Lost Boys. Kiefer shares how his love of music developed from a young age, including getting the opportunity to meet his heroes like David Bowie. They also discuss the global success of his show 24, in which he played the iconic Jack Bauer, and how he's enjoying making music, including his latest album which came out earlier this year, titled Grey.
