Songwriter and 4 Non Blondes frontwoman Linda Perry joins Vernon to choose ten songs from her life, including tracks by Christina Aguilera, Kate Bush and Harry Styles. After a very difficult upbringing, largely in San Diego, Linda Perry first found fame fronting the band 4 Non Blondes, who in 1992 had the global mega hit What's Up? After breaking up just two years later, after only one album, Linda became a songwriter and producer, creating hits for other artists like Gwen Stefani's What You Waiting For, Pink’s Get the Party Started and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. She is a five-time Grammy Award nominee and has been inducted into the songwriters Hall Of Fame. Earlier this year she released her first solo album in 27 years, Let It Die Here, alongside a documentary of the same name, both created during a difficult period in her life when she was treated for breast cancer and lost her mother. She is also soon about to reunite 4 Non Blondes with a new album, following bringing the band back together for their first performance in 33 years in 2025.
