Eliot begins to deteriorate and accuses his family of murder, while it seems that Atticus Pünd is closing in on a suspect.
As Susan digs deeper into the Crace estate, she visits Eliot’s uncle Jonathan, who is very protective of his mother’s reputation. But she learns more from Eliot’s brother Roland, who confirms that Miriam was a difficult woman, underlining how unreliable a witness Eliot is. In Crete, Atticus and Achilles track Elmer Waysmith’s movements on the day his wife died.
