Mary Halvorson’s Amaryllis Sextet live in Finland.

Tonight on ‘Round Midnight, Soweto presents concert highlights from the innovative guitarist and MacArthur Award Fellow Mary Halvorson, and her Amaryllis Sextet, recorded live at Finland's Tampere Jazz Happening late last year. Her sextet features fellow master improvisers - trumpeter Adam O'Farrill, trombonist Jacob Garchik, vibraphonist Patricia Brennan, bassist Nick Dunston, and drummer Tomas Fujiwara.
