Amos Trust
Amos Trust is a creative human rights organisation that challenges injustice, builds hope and works with innovative local partners to create long lasting change.
Building relationships of trust

We work with partners in Africa and India championing women and girls’ rights. Social workers like Gloria (pictured left) in Tanzania, meet and listen to young mothers living on the streets. They help them process their trauma and build a positive future.
On the streets

Life on the streets is hard. Many young women have fled abuse or been orphaned, like Dira whom you’ll hear about in our Appeal. With no family support or income many end up turning to sex work as their only way to survive.
Creating new futures

We helped Dira receive counselling and find a safe home. We also provided her with training and a sewing machine. Today she owns six machines and has a thriving dress making business. She now mentors other girls just like her.
