Radio 4 Appeal

Doctor Scilla Elworthy makes the Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of Peace Direct, an international charity dedicated to stopping violence around the world. They do this by supporting local peacebuilders who live in conflict zones to overcome violence in their communities.

It costs £20 for a woman in a conflict zone to attend a peacebuilding workshop and become a leader in her community.
