In 1956 Chicago, Leonard Burling is an English cutter who runs a custom tailor shop in an area controlled by mob boss Roy Boyle. When Roy's son Richie arrives one evening with a bullet in his stomach, Leonard is forced to treat his wound, but this is only the start of a long and tense evening of deception and betrayal that will change Leonard's life forever.
