The Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride is back for 2003 and you don't have ride to enjoy all the fun.

On Sunday, 22nd June 2003 thousands of cyclists will be pedalling their way around Robin Hood county all for a good cause.

If you've not sent in an application form then it's too late to take part but there's still chance to join in with the fun.

The people of Nottingham will be lining the bike ride route to cheer on family and friends as they pedal around the 18 mile and a 50 mile courses.

There'll be lots of festivities on route with bands and stalls providing motivation to those weary legs.

Once again, BBC Radio Nottingham will be their to cover the event.

Presenter Sarah Julian will be broadcasting her Sunday morning show from one of the refreshment stages of the ride - and a team of cyclists representing the BBC will be taking part.

Everyone attending the event as a spectator or as a rider gets a chance to win a brand-new Raleigh bike in a free competition.
